Supports Improved Literacy In Paulding County GA

Welcome to Paulding Literacy Council

The Paulding Literacy Council is made up of volunteers who are committed to raising the literacy level in Paulding County. We support the study of GED students who are working toward their General Equivalency Diploma, tutor adults who want to improve their reading abilities and support state and national efforts to improve literacy levels.

There is no charge for any of our services. We want to open doors for you or someone you know. Improving your reading ability can enlarge your job prospects, help you better communicate with others, enjoy reading to yourself and your childrren, and become a better informed citizen. PAULDING READS! is the Literacy Council's program to help adults improve their reading skills. Trained, experienced tutors are available tow ork weekly one-on-one with students.

Adult Education consists of classes in preparation for taking the General Education Diploma (GED) test, and classes in English as a Second Language (ESL).
